David Woodcock

David specialises in providing integrated business and financial advice to small and medium business owners.

As a Chartered Accountant, David draws on his diverse business and commercial experience of working with business owners over the last 16 years to provide financial advice and support in personal wealth creation and protection.

David advises on matters such as managing cash flow and tax planning, personal and business insurances, salary packaging and complex self-managed superannuation strategies including limited recourse borrowing arrangements.

Away from the office, he likes to be active in the outdoors with his family. You may find him hiking to the top on Mt Kosciusko with his 3-year-old on his back or enjoying live motor sport trackside. At home he will usually be enjoying and maintaining his family’s acreage.

Enjoyment in his role comes through helping clients to initially protect themselves, then in subsequent years grow their wealth and ultimately enjoy their retirement.

Clients education is a significant part of his role. Most clients are unaware of many of the financial risks that they and their family face. He enjoys opening their eyes to the potential risks and working with them to build appropriate protection strategies.

His role with SMSF clients is to work with them to maintain their desired control over their retirement assets while still being able to enjoy their retirement and know they have somebody helping them manage their finances.

His skills as a Financial Planner and Chartered Accountant put him in great position to advise clients in relation to business structure protection strategies and succession planning.

David is available to meet with you by appointment in our Lake Macquarie office or by video conference.
